LL Ep. 149 - Lessons in Leadership w/Ramon Hopkins

In this episode, Nina talks to one of her most trusted mentors,  Ramon (Ray) Hopkins), a former Marine officer who has currently the Division Chief for Construction at the California Department of Transportation.  Nina and Ray discuss the leadership lessons learned in the military that have translated into the civilian role, and how their military experience formed the type of leader that they have become.  They also discuss the importance of listening to and valuing the perspectives and lessons that our newer employees and subordinates can teach us, and how we as leaders must continually be open to adapting to change.
